Allergies symptoms like watery eyes, sneezing, fatigue, depression, hives, itching, fluid retention, digestive problems, inflammation of mucous membranes, weight gain and other discomforts can manifest because of a weakened immune system, but there is also an endless list of foods and environmental factors that can trigger allergies.

There is an effective do-it-yourself tests that will help you identify food sources of allergies. The Pulse Test  was developed by immunologist Dr Arthur Coca who states in his book the necessary steps to provide proof that certain foods are actually the cause of allergies.   The steps are easy:  Determine your average pulse rate for one minute.  Check your pulse rate again after eating and digesting a suspected allergic food.  If your pulse rises 20 plus beats higher than your average, you are probably allergic to the food.  By simply avoiding that food you could relieve many of the symptoms associated with allergies.

Researchers also believe that weak adrenal glands prevents the immune system from processing allergens.  It was also found that people with food allergies were also deficient in hydrochloric acid and/or pancreatic enzymes.

Allergies can also be a sign of a congested liver. When the body is overburdened with toxins, the liver may be stressed causing symptoms such as allergies and other symptoms.  A weakened and overburdened liver can cause it to be overactive.  Our body's natural reaction to weak organs is to make them work harder and as a result antibodies may be over-produced which cause the body to react to many harmless substances unnecessarily.  This is called allergies.
