Parasitic infections arise from the intrusion of noroviruses, harmful bacteria, parasitic insects, roundworms, tapeworms, protozoa and flukes which can enter the body via the mouth or skin.  Worm parasites are more common than most people expect, and they are listed as The Center for Disease Control's #1 Health Risk.  New research shows that parasites not only control the behavior of their hosts, they can change entire ecosystems to suit their needs. "Hookworms sink their teeth into the intestinal walls of more than a billion people every day to drink their fill of blood." According to the World Health Organization, 3.5 billion people suffer from some type of parasitic infection. These parasites affect our health because in many cases, unexplained conditions disappeared the moment parasites were eliminated from the victim.

Possible Signs of Parasitic Infestation
Since parasites will naturally inhabit the weaker areas of your body, symptoms can manifest in many different ways.

  • Stomach pain, indigestion, ulcers, constipation or colitis may indicate parasites in the digestive tract
  • Uncontrollable movements, such as Parkinson’s disease, may indicate parasites in the nervous system
  • Joint or muscle pain, such as arthritis, can be a sign that the presence of a parasite is irritating the joint or tissue and thereby causing inflammation
  • Increased susceptibility to infections in lungs, sinuses, vagina, bladder or any mucous membrane may indicate the presence of a parasite
  • Food and environmental allergies are often linked to parasites because as digested food is released into the intestines, it can seep through perforations caused by the parasites into the lymphatic system
  • Dermatitis, itching, psoriasis, eczema, hives, swelling and rashes can indicate parasites in the skin
  • Anemia, fatigue or drowsiness after meals may indicate that parasites are competing with the body for nutrients

Only rarely is there any visible evidence of infection. Moreover, many laboratories fail to detect the presence of parasites.  Many parasites affect the nervous system and give rise to sleep disorders, such as insomnia. In children, hyperactivity is common, but adults may have symptoms ranging from depression to anxiety. Some parasites affect the brain and memory. Once a condition has moved from acute to chronic, there may be alternating periods of constipation and diarrhea, abdominal distention and bloating, intestinal cramping followed by burning sensations and the sudden urge to eliminate.  Other symptoms include blood sugar fluctuations, fatigue and food cravings, teeth grinding (Bruxism), clenching, and gnashing of the teeth has been observed in cases of parasitic infection. Irritable bowel syndrome, blood sugar fluctuations, sudden food cravings, and extreme emaciation or overweight are all possible symptoms.

There are four main classes of parasites that infect humans. Each of these classes have many varieties under them. A total of 130 parasites are already known to infect human beings.

  • Microscopic organisms – referred to as Protozoans, are one-celled organisms that are invisible to the naked eye. These organisms can take over the human intestinal tract and reproduce rapidly. From the intestines, they easily move to settle on other organs and tissues. Scientists describe them as “microscopic vampires”.
  • Phylum Nematoda – also called roundworms.  These are larger parasites that can be seen by the naked eye and multiply by producing eggs and which are multi-cellular.
  • Phylum trematoda – these are also called as flatworms.
  • Phylum cestoda - more commonly referred to as tapeworms.  These are parasites that attaches to the intestinal walls using its head. As long as the head is attached, a new worm grows from it. It's also the largest parasite that inhabits human beings.
  • The good news is, you can get rid of them using the natural remedies below.  Natural parasite cleansing products serve to not only get rid of the worm-type of parasites but also the intestinal fungi and harmful bacteria that builds up in the intestines, decreases nutrient absorption, and makes us less healthy.

Black walnut hulls are a good source of chromium and iodine. It is both anti-fungal and anti-parasitic and is able to expel worms and parasites from the body. It also oxygenates the blood which aids in killing them as well. It removes them from the intestines and colon, from the blood and lymph systems and from the organs and brain.

Colloidal Silver:  hailed as our best all-around germ fighter known to man.  Colloidal silver is a completely non-toxic, all-natural antibiotic that kills infectious bacteria and unlike pharmaceutical antibiotics does not harm any beneficial enzymes in the body, making it particularly successful in fighting  the flu and colds.

Golden Seal has been used historically for infections involving the mucous membranes in the body, such as respiratory tract infections.  Preliminary lab studies suggest that berberine, the active constituent of goldenseal, is active against Entamoeba histolytica, Giardia lamblia, and Plasmodium.

Garlic (Allium sativa) has been found to have activity against Ascaris (roundworm), Giardia lamblia, Trypanosoma, Plasmodium, and Leishmania.

Raw pumpkin seeds or herbal pumpkin  contain an unusual amino acid called cucurbitin. This is believed to paralyze the worms over time, forcing them to loose their grip and get expelled from the body.

Para-cleanse is a very effective parasite cleanse.  It has several components that are used for removing parasites and worms, (Herbal Pumpkin, Artemesia, and Paw Paw).  Paw Paw was researched extensively at Purdue University by Jerry L. McLaughlin, Ph.D., for its anti-carcinoma activity.  It works by disrupting the ability of cells to convert blood sugar to ATP, the form of energy required for cell life and growth.  His research also found that the same mechanism acted as a natural pesticide and against hair lice.  Thus, it is used effectively against parasites as well.

Parasites Remedy is a natural homeopathic medicine for the relief of minor intestinal symptoms associated with parasites, such as bloating, abdominal pain, flatulence and diarrhea.

Vitamin A is a potential helper in a human intestinal parasite cleanse. Researchers have found that it increased the number of immune cells that differentiated into T2 helper cells. Whilst that sounds a little abstract, T2 helper cells are part of the immune system that responds to some bacteria, and intestinal parasites like roundworms. So, taking vitamin A, within the recommended safe amount, can help your body fight parasites.  Foods that are rich in Vitamin A can increase resistance to penetration by larvae.

Once you have eliminated the parasites, its time to remove them from your system with a good colon cleanse. Mix Psyllium husks and Bentonite clay into your cleanse to fully clean out your colon and flush out any remaining organisms. Bentonite Clay is an excellent vermifuge, attracting and binding internal parasites for disposal. Knishinsky’s research suggests that the regular intake of liquid clay can produce other benefits including parasite removal from the intestines, allergy and hay fever relief, and elimination of anemia and acne (many of the symptoms associated with parasites).

The last step is to change your diet so that those parasites do not come back. Add more garlic to your diet and reduce your intake of stimulants like coffee and sugar.
